Music for children

Children can develop music skills at an early age. I sang to all three of my children when they were babies. When Natalie was a  baby and would cry, I would sing to her and she would immediately stop her tears and listen once again. I chose a happy melody. I sang her name in the song.

Natalie was embraced by singing and the arts before birth. As a result she began singing in tune at age 17 months. I returned home from work one day and she began a perfectly beautiful tune on "Mommy's home, Mommy's home" sung to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" !!

Music and singing develops communication skills in children, especially verbal skills. Music develops reading skills.

Use music with your children. Fill their lives with the finer things that life has to offer. Music enriches our lives.
